Fairlington Preschool is a play-based, inclusion preschool committed to supporting the academic and developmental needs of our 2 through 5-year-old students. We are located in Alexandria, Virginia, and serve families from all around Northern Virginia.
Our experienced and knowledgeable teachers implement the HighScope curriculum: a research-based & play-based approach that engages children in active learning experiences. This approach focuses on the whole child, ensuring that all aspects of their development are supported. Curiosity, persistence, & creativity are promoted, and children develop strong problem-solving, decision-making, and social skills in addition to their academic skills.
We are fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to operate a preschool program, ensuring that our school meets all state standards for health, safety, and early childhood education. We are a participating provider for both the VA-ECC state and Child Care Aware military subsidy programs.
